Privacy Notice

Hendly is a co-parenting app operated by 3Tech L.L.C-FZ ("we", "us"). It exists to help two households raise kids together - not to monetize your family's data. We don't sell data, we don't run ads, and we don't track you across other apps or websites.
What we collect
- Account data - your email address and display name, used to sign you in and show your co-parent who's who.
- Family content - the calendar events, expenses, messages, handoff notes, kid information and memories you create. This is the product working, not data harvesting.
- Device tokens - so we can deliver the push notifications you enable.
- Website forms - if you join the waitlist or contact us here, we store the email and message you submit.
End-to-end encryption
The most sensitive content - kids' medical and school notes, memory photos and captions, and locations - is end-to-end encrypted. It is encrypted on your device with a key derived for your family, and our servers store only ciphertext. We cannot read it, and neither can anyone who compromises our servers.
Where data lives
Data is stored with our infrastructure provider Supabase (Postgres database and object storage) and transmitted only over TLS. Invite and notification emails are delivered via Resend. Push notifications are delivered via Apple's push service.
Who can see your family's data
Only the members of your family space - you and the co-parent (or guardian) you explicitly invite. Row-level security enforces this at the database layer.
Your rights
You can export your family's expense data from the app, and you can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing hello@hendly.app. If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the rights provided by the GDPR, including access, rectification, erasure and portability.
Children
Hendly accounts are for parents and guardians. Kids don't have accounts; information about children is content created and controlled by their parents.
Changes
If this notice changes materially, we'll notify you in the app before the change takes effect.
